With all time, energy and money being thrown to our wedding (and rightfully so), my birthday seems to be taking a sad backseat. And since I’m turning a mature 30 I would like to say goodbye to my twenties in style, but what to do? My original idea (which I made when I was 25) was to take a trip to New York and buy a Camaro. Since we are taking a rather large honeymoon and no way Nick would let me trade in the Saturn for my beloved, I tabled this idea.

Someone gave me the advice to lay low this year and hit it up big next. I kind of like this and kind of hate it.

I thought about renting a Camaro and going to my favorite places around town.

I also thought about taking a few days off in May, wait to the very last minute and check what specials travel sites are offering. This is so spontaneous and not me that I kind of like starting my thirties this way.

I guess I have a few months, we’ll see what I come up with.
